The Roos were honoured to be awarded Club of the Year, beating 115 other clubs, at the recent awards, with the League basing its decision on:

• our incredibly successful results in season 2017 (finishing on top of the ladder in the Thirds, Colts & Reserves competitions, second in the Senior comp & winning the SCWB Premiership),
• our commitment to Women's football with 2 Senior women's sides, one debuting in the QWAFL this year,
• the appointment of an Operations Manager to increase our professionalism & capability, and
• our partnership with domestic violence organisation, White Ribbon.

To top off the night, Co- Captain of the Senior team, Daniel Dzufer, took home the Most Valuable Player Award for the QFA Division 1 competition.  An incredibly worthy recipient.

Our Reserves Captain/Coach, Dave Hulsman, continues to prove that age is no barrier as he narrowly missed out on taking home the League B & F for that division coming runner up and complementing his League B & F award in 2016.

A great night was had by all!
