JAYDEN WATT 10 YEAR MEMORIAL MEDALLION

JAYDEN WATT 10 YEAR MEMORIAL MEDALLION

Jayden was only 23 years old when tragedy struck in 2007. On the way to play footy for the Roos, the car he was travelling in was involved in an accident and Jayden was killed. He left behind his distraught parents, Julie and Mark, and 4 siblings – Danny, Beau, Bayley and Tahnee. Today, to mark the 10 year anniversary of his passing, the Maroochydore AFC want to extend our deepest sympathies to the Watt family on this sad occasion and to all those who knew Jayden. The Jayden Watt 10 year Memorial Medallion was today awarded to the Maroochydore player, Brent Forsyth, who was deemed the best afield in the SC/Wide Bay competition v Bay Power ( as voted by the coach and the umpires). It was presented to Brent by the Watt family & our Patron, Kingsley St Clair, and coach Leigh Roberts, who spoke beautifully about this honour. We hope this gesture of a memorial medallion will let them know that Jayden will not be forgotten.

R.I.P. Jayden.
