Operations Manager

The Maroochydore Roos have moved a stepped closer to an era of professionalism with the appointment of Lisa Daldy in a permanent part time role as Operations Manager. Lisa commenced the role after the position was ratified at the club’s first General Meeting of the newly elected, and expanded, committee in November. Lisa has provided administrative support and been the senior teams (plus Reserves in 2015) team manager for the past two seasons. Her dedication and professionalism in the role saw her honoured as AFLQ’s Administrator of the Year at the conclusion of the 2015 season. Lisa will continue as the senior team manger in 2017 under new coach Andrew Cadzow, however will have an expanded portfolio that will ensure the smooth running of the football club including, but not limited to, increasing social media and communication with club stakeholders, administration, secretarial duties plus much more. Club President Matt Bury said the announcement of the role and the appointment of Lisa, further emphasizes the more professional path the club had undertaken over the past few seasons. “Lisa has been and will be continue to be a fantastic asset for our football club,” Matt said. “Lisa was officially appointed on December 1st – she’s taken the bull by the horns and already has been excellent in the role. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes at this time of year, to now have a paid administrator at the club, its certainly making everyone’s life a lot easier.” “The club is in a great position and this will only help continue the upward trend we’ve shown over the past 4 seasons. “We also expanded committee this season with five new faces coming in and two stepping aside, we have a growing supporter base and we are seeing some of the old faces come down to get involved. We’ve created a new Sponsorship & Marketing role with in the club and have appointed Jim Beasley to fill that role.” “We head into the Christmas break in great shape, and can’t wait to get back into it next year” The Roo’s will have their final training session Tuesday December 20, before resuming training on Tuesday 10 Jan, 2017.
