Our women started their pre season very early November in readiness for an early start to the 2020 QAFLW season on Feb 29. New Senior Coach, Steve Moody, has been delighted with the excellent numbers attending and a lot of major new talent from the region wanting to play at the Roos.

With young guns Lily Postlethewaite and Belle Dawes being drafted this year, it has shown women on the Sunshine Coast what is possible for them if they aspire to play at the highest level. Also rising through the ranks, Mikayla Pauga, Bella Smith and Maggie Harmer have all been selected in the U18 AFL Academy squad. Todd Bowden has been appointed S&C Coach for the women so look out for the Roos in 2020!
