Maroochydore enjoyed a successful evening at the 2018 AFLQ Community Football Awards last September. Major winners included: Mitch Scholard as Leading Goalkicker for the QFA Div 1 with 106 goals, Kate Surman for making the QWAFL Team of the Year, Andrew Cadzow for QFA Div 1 Coach of the Year and Warren Day as QWAFL Administrator of the Year.
