Triple Premiership Coach, Leigh Roberts, has stepped down as coach of the Maroochydore Thirds in what was a very challenging decision for him. Despite intense pressure from his troops, Leroy as he is affectionately known, is keen to take on a different role at the Club and provide opportunities and fresh ideas for his boys with someone new at the helm. It is with his blessing that Mitch Bird has taken on the role of playing coach, with great support from Co-Captain Jeremy Cockram and past player Jimmy McKenzie. We love that Leigh will still remain with the Club so watch this space!
